NYC Launch — 2025

Find the room you've been missing.

You still play. You just don't have anyone to play with. StillPlaying quietly matches adult musicians on what actually matters — not your profile, not your follower count, not your band history. When the right person turns up, we introduce you. What happens next is real life.

The Jam EQ

Seven questions. A profile that means something.

Every player builds a Jam Sheet — a 6-axis EQ covering genre, skill level, energy, structure, playing frequency, and space. It captures how you actually play, not how you'd like to be seen. The system watches for compatible players and notifies you when a match is found.

Each player dials in their own Jam Sheet. The system matches on what matters, quietly.

How It Works

Low-friction. IRL by design.

No feed, no followers, no performance anxiety. Just a quiet system that connects you when the conditions are right.

01
Build your Jam Sheet

Answer seven questions about how you play. Genre preferences, skill level, energy, structure, how often you want to play, and whether you need a space or have one.

02
The system watches quietly

No browsing, no swiping. StillPlaying monitors the player pool for compatible Jam Sheets and surfaces matches when the alignment is real — not just close.

03
A low-friction introduction

When a match is found, both players get notified. The introduction is minimal: first name, instrument, neighborhood. Everything after that happens in real life.

Why StillPlaying

Built for the musicians the other platforms forgot.

Not a band app

You're not trying to form a group, book a tour, or build a following. You want the feeling back. StillPlaying is for that.

Not a social network

No profiles to maintain. No feed to scroll. No likes. The product succeeds when players meet IRL — and then we're mostly irrelevant.

Behavioral compatibility

Other platforms match on instrument and location. The Jam EQ captures how you play — energy, structure, commitment — which is actually what makes a session work.

Quality over volume

One great match is worth more than ten weak ones. The system is designed for signal, not engagement.

Privacy-first

No public profile. No searchable directory. Your Jam Sheet is only ever compared against others in the system — quietly, without your knowledge, until a match is real.

Adult life-stage context

You have limited time. The people you play with need to be worth showing up for. StillPlaying respects that.

The room is being built.
